Viacom International Media Networks operates the sales unit Be Viacom, which is a source of brand engagement solutions for brands, targeting kids, youth, and young adult demographics across the globe. Brand engagement solutions across the Viacom International Media Networks portfolio of media brands include advertising, promotions, branded content, brand experience, digital activation, sponsorship and licensing.

Media platforms

Our content for different media platforms include everything from the always fresh and innovative MTV, niche music channels like Vh1 and MTV Dance, children channel Nickelodeon and Comedy Central, to the Nordic traffic at dot com sites like GameTrailers, Addicting Games, Xfire and Neopets to mention a few. To describe us we’ve used a few key words: global leader, force in media and source to youth.

Global leader

As a leader in music and media all over the world, we both unite and differentiate. Network is what we are, not only by name. Young people have a platform to share content from different cultures, but still to make and consume their own locally flavored media. You can always be sure that the audience will be tuning in to Viacom sources when it comes to what’s new and what’s on.

Local content

Here in the Nordic region we have locally programmed channels with international content, also sharing across continents. As we built some of the world’s most famous stars, MTV in the Nordic region has been a part of launching several local artists across the world. MTV and Nickelodeon is produced in local language versions for Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark. Apart from them we also have a range of niche brands for various tastes.

Force in media

We are determined to make a difference. We created the docu soap. We were first with real life comedy, first with interactive TV and with broadband TV. We were part of tearing down the Berlin wall. We are the world’s leading producer of mobile video content. In anything we do, you can be sure that we are leaving the famous box. We take pride in not being normal. Who said Tom Greene is normal? Bam in Jackass? Sponge Bob Square Pants? And who else would pimp up their rides and arrange dates with Tila Tequila? Who else would use their power so strongly to take an active stand on the AIDS issue, trafficking and nutrition?
